This is a new 3 horsepower mini starter for small block or big block Chevy with in-line mounting bolt pattern. Works well on engines up to 450 horsepower and 11:1 to 13:1 compression. This quality starter has a dual bolt pattern that allows it to be used with either 153 or 168 tooth flexplates / flywheels on automatic or manual transmissions. This will also work with Chevy 90° V6s.

The gear reduction produces between 30-50% more cranking power than that of stock starters and is 9 in total length and weighs 11.5, lbs, which is approximately 9 lbs less than a stock Chevy starter. The starter also has the 2 wire hookup common when used with HEI ignitions and features a rear mounting pad with 3 different clockable positions to allow it to be rotated to aid in installation and solenoid exhaust clearance.
